This page explains what information Soft Spuns (softspuns.com) collects when you shop with us, and what we do with it.
What we collect
- When you order: your name, phone number, email address, delivery address, and what you bought.
- When you create an account: your email address and password (stored encrypted, so we can’t see it).
- When you join the newsletter: your email address.
- When you browse: small files called cookies that keep your bag and checkout working, and that record how you arrived at the site (for example, from a search engine or directly). This helps us understand what’s working.
We don’t collect card or bank details. Orders are paid in cash on delivery.
How we use it
- To deliver your order and contact you about it.
- To send you your tracking number and order updates by email.
- To send the newsletter, if you signed up. Every letter lets you unsubscribe.
- To keep records of orders, as any business must.
Who we share it with
- PostEx, our courier: your name, phone number, delivery address and order amount, so they can deliver and collect payment.
- Hostinger, our web host, which stores the website and its data.
- Google Fonts: the site loads its fonts from Google, which means Google receives your device’s IP address when a page loads.
We don’t sell your information, and we don’t share it with anyone else unless the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as we need them for accounting and to handle any problem with your order. Newsletter emails are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (except order records we need to keep). Email softspuns@gmail.com.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update this page.
